Kaurna-based Ryan Martin John finally releases his new full length folk/americana album ‘Big Love’. Ryan plays a full band show - with a full band, and joining him will be long time friends Alana Jagt and The Flying Squad. After releasing a trickling of singles in 2025, and the stand out single ‘Honey Honey’ as of May, Ryan unveils his sophomore album Big Love along whilst revisiting his full band moments on his debut record Goodness Gracious Graceless. Expect a loud night of country & Americana at Three Brothers Arms.
Alana Jagt
Born and raised on South Australia’s Iron Triangle, Jagt cut her teeth as a teen playing keys and singing harmonies in her parents’ ramshackle blues band. At seventeen she skipped to the capital and established a song-writing outlet as one half of folk-duo Buffalo Boyfriend, but the songs quickly outgrew the folk harmony outlet, and with the 2017 release of her solo debut Wilderness, Jagt steadily built a dedicated audience in her own right–one that has followed her from beloved little Adelaide venues like the Grace Emily to performances at Adelaide Guitar Festival, and supporting artists the likes of Abbe May and Mick Thomas nationally.
The Flying Squad
The Flying Squad are a five-piece Americana band from Adelaide, known for heartfelt storytelling and a sound that blends Australian honesty with the spirit of Nashville. Their music explores the space between love and loss, hope and hardship, carried by rich harmonies and a genuine passion for connection. The band’s new four-track EP Now, Violence arrives in 2026, with lead single Heart Attacks set for release in January. The project explores life’s tougher corners with honesty and heart, reminding listeners that even in chaos there is beauty worth holding onto. Their songs are for anyone who loves a good story and a strong melody, and who knows the feeling of singing along to something real.
